What to do with Cream of Potato Soup~~~

  • What to do with Cream of Potato Soup~~~
    I accidentally opened a can and I really don't like it as a bowl of soup....does anyone have any recipes that use Cream of Potato soup in them?

    Campbell's® Chicken Pot Pie


    Prep. time: 15 min. Cooking time: 30
    Serves: 5

    Ingredients


    2 cans (10 3/4 ounces each) Campbell's® Cream of Potato Soup
    1 cup milk
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
    1/4 tsp. Pepper
    4 cups cooked cut-up vegetables, *
    2 cups cubed cooked chickens
    1 pkg. (7 1/2 to 10 ounces) refrigerated biscuits



    Directions


    In 3-qt. shallow baking dish mix soup, milk, thyme, pepper, vegetables and chicken.

    Bake at 400°F. for 15 min. or until hot. Stir. Arrange biscuits over chicken mixture. Bake 15 min. more or until biscuits are golden.

    Use a combination of broccoli flowerets, sliced carrots, peas OR broccoli flowerets, cauliflower flowerets, sliced carrots OR broccoli flowerets, sliced carrots

    1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell’s® Cream of Celery OR Campbell's® 98% Fat Free Cream of Celery Soup
    1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's® Cream of Potato Soup
    1 cup milk
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 cups cooked cut-up vegetables*
    2 cups cubed cooked chicken
    1 pkg. refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (10)



    Directions


    MIX soups, milk, thyme, pepper, vegetables and chicken in 3-qt. shallow baking dish.

    BAKE at 400°F. for 15 min. Stir chicken mixture. Cut each biscuit into quarters.

    TOP with cut biscuits. Bake 15 min. or until biscuits are golden.


    Tips
    *Use a combination of broccoli flowerets, cauliflower flowerets and carrots.

    Serve with your favorite tossed green salad. For dessert serve Pepperidge Farm® cookies.

    4 cups prepared Pepperidge Farm® Herb Seasoned Stuffing

    MIX soups, milk, thyme, pepper, vegetables and chicken in 3-qt. shallow baking dish. Top with stuffing.

    BAKE at 400°F. for 25 min. or until hot.


    Tips *Use a combination of cut green beans and sliced carrots.

    Well Thank You KMom!

    Over on KC Doe says she uses it all the time in place of Cream of Mushroom because her family doesn't really like the mushroom....and she said Tuna Noodle Casserole, Scalloped Potatoes, Chicken and Broccoli Bake.

    I don't know how you lucked out, but I went to the Campbells site to do a search, and they have everything they make listed EXCEPT Cream of Potato Soup! LOL!!!

    But I've copied these and will be getting busy! Thanks again!

    QUICK BROCCOLI SOUP

    1 package of Frozen Chopped Broccoli

    1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup

    1 can Cream of Chicken Soup

    1 can Cream of Potato Soup

    1 can Evaporated Milk

    1 can water of milk can

    Cook Frozen Broccoli until tender, leave about a cup of liquid with the Broccoli and mash into small pieces, then add all the ingredients. Heat until almost a boil.
    I have substituted broc/cheese soup for the cream of mushroom.

    PORK CHOP 'N POTATO BAKE

    6 pork chops
    seasoned salt
    1 can (10 ¾ oz.) cream of potato soup
    ½ cup milk
    ½ cup sour cream
    ¼ teaspoon pepper
    1 package (24 oz.) frozen hashed brown potatoes, thawed
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    1 can (28 oz.) Durkee French Fried Onions

    Brown pork chops in greased skillet. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and set aside. Combine soup, milk, sour cream, pepper and ½ teaspoon seasoned salt. Stir in hashed brown potatoes, ½ cup cheese and ½ can Durkee onions. Spoon mixture into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Arrange pork chops over potatoes. Bake, covered at 350F for 40 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and onions, bake uncovered 5 minutes longer.

    I too have added it to things that call for cream of mushroom soup and to my Scalloped Potatoes.
