    Need Tahitian Fruit Salad Recipe
    Does anyone have a recipe for Tahitian Fruit Salad the one I tried at a Christmas Party had marshmallows,mandarin oranges, and it looked like tapioca I'm not sure about other ingredients

    Guten Morgen Alle, It is a rainy 59 degrees in the Shreveport Area and is suppose to rain all weekend. The main attraction here is Christmas bazaar that is going on at the expo center all weekend.

    There will be no new thread for today and tomorrow so add your recipes and information to this one. Twinkle will be back on Monday. We also discussed having the thread on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and just carry it over.

    A little Louisiana Humor.
    Subject: Thibodaux and Boudreaux

    Thibodaux and Boudreaux are a couple of drinking buddies who work as airplane mechanics in New Orleans.

    One day the airport is fogged in and they're stuck in the hanger with
    nothing to do.

    Boudreaux says, "Man, I wish we had something to drink."

    Thibodaux says, "Me, too. Y'know, I heard you can drink jet fuel and
    get a buzz. You wanna try it?"

    So they pour themselves a couple of glasses of high octane hooch and
    get completely smashed.

    The next morning Boudreaux wakes up and is surprised at how good he
    feels. In fact, he feels great. No hangover. No bad side effects. Nothing.

    Then the phone rings. It's Thibodeaux.

    Thibodaux: Hey, how do you feel this morning?

    Boudreaux: Great!

    Thibodeaux: I feel great, too. You don't have a hangover?

    Boudreaux: No, that jet fuel is great stuff, no hangovers, nothing. We oughta do this more often.

    Thibodeaux: Yeah. Well, there's just one thing....

    Boudreaux: What's that?

    Thibodeaux: Have you passed gas yet?

    Boudreaux: No.


    Thibodeaux: Well, don't, 'cause I'm in Phoenix.

    Have not heard of one called that but sounds very similar to the "Five Cup Fruit Salad"-recipe follows.Pat
    1 C [11oz.can]Mandarin Oranges
    1 C [8 1/2 oz can]crushed Pineapple
    1 C [3 1/2 oz,can]flaked Coconut
    1 C.miniature Marshmallows
    1 C.Sour Creme
    Drain syrup from oranges and pineapple and combine;blend in coconut and marshmallows.Add sour creme and chill.
