Hi, I know I have seen this in years past, and would just like to do it again for fun... How do you make those turkey table favors out of Ritz Crackers? I think it also involves some candy corn, or Hershey's kisses. Thanks in advance!

This it's made with crackers..but they are turkeys! Hope this helps!

    ~~Candy Turkeys~~
    Makes 2 dozen

1 (16 ounce) package fudge striped shortbread cookies
1 (13 ounce) package chocolate covered caramel candies (e.g. Rolo TM)
1 (14 ounce) package individually wrapped caramels
1 (14 ounce) package candy corn
1 (16 ounce) container prepared chocolate frosting

1 Stack on their sides one caramel, chocolate covered caramel candy and
candy corn. Use a dab of frosting to hold all together.
2 Place a dab of frosting on back of caramel and attach to the bottom of the
top side of a cookie. Stand upright.

    Found one for you!

    Turkeys!

    Round crackers like Ritz crackers
    Candy corn
    Canned vanilla frosting
    Chocolate Kiss candy
    Caramel

Spread the vanilla frosting onto the cracker.
Place 5-candy corn around the top part of the cracker.
Place the candy Kiss at the bottom of the cracker to make the body.
Spread a little frosting on the Kiss and put a piece of candy corn on that for its beak.
Put a small amount of frosting on the back and attach the caramel to that so it stand.

Here's how I made my turkeys.

    gingersnap base
    chocolate covered cherry body
    candy corn beak
fruit slice tail (like gum drops only shaped into a crescent)

I "glued" all the pieces together with chocolate frosting. Oh and I flattened the gum drop tail out somewhat with the palm of my hand.

I do mine with a split-open Oreo. Attach the one side to the back so it is standing on the flat one.
Malted milk ball for the body of the turkey.
Red hot for the "hat" on the turkey.
Candy corn on the standing oreo for the tail.
All stuck to the Oreo with choc icing.

These have been our placecards at Thanksgiving for years. Keeps the kiddos busy, but messy. Worth it though.
