Can you freeze whole Jalapenos

    Can you freeze whole Jalapenos
    with out cutting or seeding them? TIA

    Last year we had them coming out of our ears. We tried freezing them. It was great! I put them on a flat baking sheet, froze them and then put them in a ziplock bag. pulled them out of the freezer when we needed to spice up a dish. I did microwave them for a few seconds to thaw them. They did let off a small amount of liquid, but I just added it to the dish and chopped the jalopeno to go in the dish. If we have extra this year, I will do the same. good luck!

    I've frozen them whole or chopped for years. It's great to go to the freezer and not have to remember to buy the fresh ones. Carol
