Mary,this recipe sounds great and I will make it myself.
I have to say,the word "Classic" is not right, since it is not a classic Goulash. The classic Goulash is Hungarian and made with beef stew meat and paprika and served with spaetzle. It is a soup.
Sounds good to me too Renate. Maybe it is an American Thing. My mother always made hers with ground beef and Macaroni.
