Creamy chicken pasta

  • Creamy chicken pasta


    2 tsp. Oil
    1 lb. Boneless chicken breasts cut in inch pieces
    1 clove chopped garlic
    1tsp. Oregano
    15 oz. Diced tomatoes drained
    1c. Heavy cream
    1/4 tsp. Salt
    1/4 tsp. Pepper
    1/4 tsp. Cayenne pepper
    1-1/3 c. Uncooked pasta
    16 oz. Stirfry veg mix- frozen, thawed & drained
    1tsp. Basil

    Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, basil, garlic and oregano. Cook for 5 minutes. Stirring often till chicken is cooked.
    Stir in tomatoes, cream, salt, cayenne & pepper. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.
    Cook & drain pasta. Stir pasta & vegetable. Cook till hot.
