RE: little smokey's sausage
The recipe I have calls for a 12 oz. jar of chili sauce, & a 10 oz. grape jelly. Could that be it? I'm sure you could use bbq sauce to replace the chili sauce.

Coctail Little Smokies
1 pkg Little Smokies sausages
10 oz. apple jelly
1/2 c. mustard
Melt the jelly and mustard together and add warmed little sausages.
I bet you could substitute grape jelly for the apple.

RE: little smokey's sausage
I use that combo...just use equal amounts of grape jelly and BBQ sauce, depending on the quantity of lil smokies. If you buy the cheaper jelly, off brand, it will melt more easily and quickly. I put the sauce and jelly in a slow cooker until the jelly is melted, then add the sausages to heat through. Don't put the smokeys in too soon before serving, only an hour or so to heat through, or they will wrinkle and not look very appealing, although they'll still taste just fine. I use Open Pit BBQ sauce.

I use equal amounts of grape jelly and chili sauce. Mix the tow together and then add the sausages. Yum, I'm hungry for some now.
