Here is a dip that we just love! You can use fruit, chips or Graham Sticks. Grapes are really good and so are plain ruffles chips....

    Pineapple Chip Dip

16 oz Crushed and drained Pineapple
1 small pkg Vanilla Instant Pudding
    8 oz Cream Cheese
    1 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
    Chopped Pecans (optional)

Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate at least 4 hours.

    Hope you like it.

This tastes better if made and refrigerated a day ahead!

    Best Chip Dip

    8 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. mayo
    1 t. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t. onion salt or minced onion
    1/2 t. garlic salt
    1/4 c. chili sauce

Optional: add enough milk for a pleasing consistency

Let cream cheese soften to room temperature. Blend together with a mixer the cream cheese and mayo. Add the rest of the ingredients; mix well. Chill for an hour. Serve with your favorite chips.

Our dips always start with a 2 cup size (500 ml) of sour cream, then add any of the following:

1 pkg Knorr Vegetable soup mix
1 can finely chopped water chestnuts

    Or:

1 pkg cheese mix (from a macaroni & cheese mix)
    2 Tablespoons bacon bits

    Or:

Any pkg dry salad dressing mix to taste (we like caesar)

    Or:

    1 T. dried dill weed
1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
    salt & pepper to taste

Stir in seasoning. Let mixture sit in fridge to blend flavours.

  • RE: ISO: A WONDERFUL DIP RECIPE FOR POTATO CHIPS!

Welcome to the BB....I tried this at a recent Labor Day gathering....it's wonderful!!  Although the recipe suggests serving with French bread, I think any kind of chip or cracker would work just as well.  Enjoy!!

    BLT DIP

    INGREDIENTS

    1
cup sour cream with chives and onions
    1/4
    cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
    1/2
cup crumbled cooked bacon (about 8 slices)
    1 1/2
    cups shredded romaine lettuce
    1/2
    cup chopped roma (plum) tomatoes
    1
    tablespoon chopped fresh chives
    32
slices (1/4-inch-thick) baguette-style French bread (from 10-ounce loaf)

    DIRECTIONS

1 Mix sour cream and mayonnaise in small bowl until blended. Stir in bacon. 2 Arrange lettuce in shallow bowl or on small platter. Spoon sour cream mixture over lettuce. Top with tomatoes; sprinkle with chives. Serve with baguette slices.
You can use iceberg lettuce instead of the romaine if you like.
Precooked bacon can be purchased in strips or chopped. You'll find packages of it with the sandwich meats or at the deli.
This dip can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance, but refrigerate the components separately. When you are at your destination and ready to serve it, assemble as directed.
