Does anyone have recipes from "Everybody Loves Raymond" TV show?
I still watch all the re-runs on TV.
They are always eating something and I know there must be some recipes somewhere and I don't know where to look for them.
Please post if you have any recipes from their show.
Thanks,
Marge

8 oz. ground beef

Everybody Loves Raymond's Braciole
Ingredients:
1 pound beef, sliced very thin
12 cups bread crumbs
1/4 pound Parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup fresh basil (or to taste)
1 1/2 cup canned tomatoes (or use fresh)
3/4 cup tomato paste
Directions:
Cut the beef into very thin slices, place between 2 pieces of waxed paper and pound thin. Sprinkle with bread crumbs, grated cheese, basil, rolled and secured with toothpicks.
Brown the braciole. It is then put in a pot with canned tomatoes and tomato paste.
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer, turning the rolls occasionally, until the beef is tender when pierced with a knife, about 2 hours. Check from time to time to see if the sauce is becoming too dry; add a little water if needed.

Marie's Lemon Chicken From Everybody Loves Raymond
Debra is talking on the phone and takes her dinner to the table.
Debra: "Ray, you promised. I made lemon chicken and everything."
Marie: "He's not coming home for dinner? (Debra shakes her head) Maybe it's the lemon chicken."
Here's the correct way to make it, dear.
Ingredients:
3 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast meat
1 tablespoon dry sherry
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2-teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/4-cup cornstarch
1/2-teaspoon baking powder
2 cups vegetable oil
1/3 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 lemon, sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
In a large bowl combine the chicken, sherry, soy sauce and 1/2-teaspoon salt. Mix together, cover and refrigerate. Let marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.
In a small bowl, beat together the eggs, 1/4 cup cornstarch and baking powder to form a batter. In a wok, heat 2 cups oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Coat chicken with batter and fry in wok until browned. Cut into bite size pieces and set aside.
In a medium bowl combine the sugar, 1-tablespoon cornstarch, broth, lemon juice and 1-teaspoon salt. Mix together and add lemon slices. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in wok and slowly stir in lemon sauce mixture. Cook, stirring, until sauce is clear. Pour sauce over chicken and serve.

RE: Does anyone have recipes from
Thank you all so much for the help!
I think the Braciole is the one that Raymond likes so well, so I think I'll make it and see if it's really that good.
Many thanks, Marge

Marie's Chicken Soup
This is one of Ray's favorites, dear. At least, when I make it.
Ingredients:
One chicken
1 lb. of fresh carrots, peeled and sliced into 1-inch pieces
2 large stalks of celery, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1-1/2 cups of onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 tbsp. parsley
1-teaspoon thyme
Salt & pepper to taste
1 cup cooked rice
Lots of love
Instructions:
Wash the chicken and put it in a large pot. Cover the chicken with cold water.
Add the vegetables and spices to the pot.
Bring the soup to a boil and then turn down the heat to simmer.
Simmer the soup for at least two hours.
Prepare the rice and set aside.
Remove the chicken from the pot and de-bone it.
Shred or slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces and return to the pot.
Add rice to the pot.
You can add an extra cup of water, if you think you need more broth.
Continue simmering the soup for a few minutes to warm the rice, and the chicken.

Everybody Loves Raymond
Marie's Home-made Chocolate Pudding
Ingredients:
2 cups whole milk
1-teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 ounces bittersweet chocolate
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 whole eggs
3 egg yolks
3/4-cup sugar
1/3 cup Dutch process cocoa
3/4-cup heavy cream
1-teaspoon cornstarch
Instructions:
In a medium sized saucepan, bring milk to a boil. Meanwhile, in the top of a double boiler combine the bittersweet chocolate and unsweetened chocolate with the butter and melt slowly until mixture is smooth.
In a large heatproof bowl, whisk the whole eggs and yolks with the sugar, beating until the sugar is well blended and the mixture is a light yellow color. Add vanilla. Gradually add warm milk to egg mixture and whisk while combining. Return mixture to heat and cook over medium heat, constantly stirring until the liquid thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Immediately strain mixture into a large bowl. Gradually whisk in melted chocolate mixture and sifted cocoa mixture until fully incorporated.
In a small saucepan, using a whisk, combine the cream and cornstarch and bring to a boil, stirring over moderately high heat. Cook until thickened slightly, about 2 minutes. Vigorously whisk the cream into the chocolate custard until blended.
Let the pudding cool slightly, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming, about 10 minutes. Pour the mixture into parfait glasses or ramekins. Refrigerate 4 hours or more before serving.
