    I would like a (copy Kat?) recipe for the doughnuts like they serve at smokey bones. They were great. Can anyone help?

    You won't believe how easy they are to make.
    Start with a can of refrigerated biscuits.
    Cut a hole in the center
    Deep fry in oil, turning them over once.
    Remove from grease and drain
    While still HOT, shkae them in a brown bag that contains a cinnamon sugar mixture.
    Let cool.

    For the strawberry sauce, puree fresh strawberries with a touch of lemon juce and some powdered sugar.

    I've made these at home several times.

    Oh man! I haven't made these in ages. I have wonderful memories of my kids and me making them together and shaking them in bags of cinnamon/sugar, and powdered sugar. Fun times!

    what kind of biscuits do you use? what temp do I need the oil to be??

    Just pillsbury biscuits that come in the can in the refrigerated section of the grocery store.

    As for the temp, I'm going to guesstimate about 325 to 350.
