  • How do I make candy pacifiers for a baby shower?
I've heard you can use gumdrops, lifesavers and pipe cleaners. Does anyone have any exact directions? Thank You Stacy

    I'll try again.

    white (mint) life-savers
    (blue or pink) jelly bellies
    thin white ribbons
    hot glue gun

Assemble with hot glue, 2 life savers--hold bottom one like a tire,
glue 2nd one on top (like an inner tube). Then glue jelly bean in center of top life-saver--it looks
like the nipple. When they were set we tied a ribbon through the base one. They look like tiny pacifiers.

My daughter remembered them from a shower so we just improvised. Probably there's a website with better directions and illustrations.

    Good luck,
    S

I helped with a baby shower in March and did have success in locating a website with pictures and instructions. Unfortunately I have deleted all the information I had. It was easy though-I just typed in something like jelly bean pacifier into google search and several links came up. We used icing as the "glue" so the pacifiers would be edible.
    Good luck...Tammy

Interesting....I never heard of these before, but when I read the subject line I assumed they were made using ring pops!

    Hi Stacy,
I made completely edible ones for my neice's baby shower. Use life savers for the handle(fruit flavored or mint, whichever you prefer), use necco candies for the base and gum drops for the top. Make a paste of confectioners sugar and water(very thick) to use for glue. These are fun to make.

    Have fun and good luck.

If you want to save yourself some work, I'd look around in a candy store. Some company makes suckers that look like pacifiers.
