  • ? Can you freeze Feta Cheese?
I bought a 3# block of Feta Cheese at Sam's Club about a month ago ... it's best used by date is in September.

Can I open it up, crumble, and freeze?

I do this with parmesan cheese that I buy in blocks at Sam's. I food process it and then freeze.

    Thanks for your input! Kari

I do all the time....I freeze pieces of half-pound or less....be sure you thaw in refrigerator (cheese won’t lose moisture) -- the slower the cheese is thawed, the better. When I thaw the cheese I use it right away! Good luck! :)
