1-large Vanilla pudding-Instant
1-pint whipping cream
1-quart Half & Half
1-t. vanilla flavoring
Fruit if desired
Mix. Pour into 1 gallon ice
cream freezer container, hand-turned or electric freezer.
Add enough milk to fill
container 2/3 full.

I don’t remember where I got this recipe.
I always have request for this recipe.
I usually make vanilla and let everyone add whatever
toppings they like.
It is so rich & creamy.
bananas, mashed.1-8 oz canned crushed pineapple, drained, 1-6 oz jar maraschino
cherries, drained, cut in half or chopped.
Banana Nut: about
3 mashed bananas, 1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans
Oreo: Crush one
flat cans crushed pineapple and juice,
Strawberry: 1 or
2 package frozen strawberries, thawed mashed, red food coloring, strawberry
chocolate pudding, Chocolate chip: grate up large Hershey bar;
Peach: fresh or frozen peaches, mashed,
Adapt to freezer size and individual preference.
This states it is for a 1/2 gallon freezer??? Can that be - it seems like a lot of volume for that amount of ice cream. Most freezers are 4 qt +
I am getting ready to make it for company and I just wanted to be sure.
I don't make any ice cream w/ eggs in it and there are a bunch of recipes using the instant pudding - maybe they came from Kraft or Jello but I think they're also on the BB. Those are very yummy - chocolate is especially good - quick to make and you can also use the sugar free and other things to make the ice cream lower calorie and with less sugar - still yummy!
