    Years of TOH and QC
    TOH started back in 1993?
    QC started back in 1998?

    (So there should be issues around from both those years up to now?)

    I'm trying to complete my collections and just seeing how many more years I need to locate.

    TOH started in Mar/Apr/93 with the Premier edition. More of those around than the next couple that are harder to locate in good condition. '93 is not so plentiful compared to '95 or '96.

    Someone else will know about QC. Sounds about right though.

    I have every issue of both TOH and QC. They are getting a little ponderous, once in awhile I grab an armful and look through them all over again. Usually I cut out the recipes I know I will make and keep them in a recipe box of just TOH/QC.

    The premiere issue of TOH had a moist chocolate cake on the back cover- inside, I think- and that has been our family birthday cake recipe ever since. It needs to bake longer than they said, and I add cocao to the icing. It is the best!

    I have pretty much all of them up until now. I have managed to lose a copy or two somewhere. Sometimes I see them at thrift stores for fifty cents or something. You might check that out. Mine are taking up a lot of space too, but I haven't had the nerve to get rid of them. The old ones had so many delicious recipes in them compared to the new ones. The new ones are still good, but not as good as they used to be. I miss the old format. It was so much nicer. JMHO.

    Actually TOH's premiere was Feb/Mar 1993. That issue is OK as is Apr/May 1993. I don't think that it got really great until Jun/Jul 1993 when the first contest (chicken) winners were printed in the clip and keep cards.

    I see a lot of the oldest issues for sale on ebay dirt cheap. I tried to sell some extra 1994-1995 issues and had no bids, so I took them to the local library magazine exchange. Someone passing through there got a real prize!
