Can you re-whip whipped cream?

    Made some fresh whipped cream yesterday, but today it just looks limp, if I beat it some more will it come back???? Thanks, Vicki

    I've rewhipped it before and it came out great. Sometimes i add a bout a tablespoon of dry vanilla pudding to it, seems like it holds up better if you're not serving it right away. Chill your beaters before you rewhip it, that will help.

    Whenever I make real whipped cream I always put in about 1/8 tsp of unflavored gellatin in it. It makes the whipped cream hold up for a few days. Be sure to use a cold bowl and beaters when whipping. MrsCrickets

    I made whipped cream using icing sugar instead of granulated, and it stood up well the next couple of days.
