That person is me. I love salads and I would love to eat more, but I can't have anything with dairy products (lact-aid pills don't work for me) and because of the acid reflux, all vinegars are off limits. Is there anything left. I would really appreciate any recipe you have. Thanks so much.

I can't have dairy and DH has acid reflux. We don't eat the same salad dressings. That's a hard one. Let me look at some of my recipes. Something must work for both at once.

Outback Steakhouse Honey Mustard Salad Dressing by Todd Wilbur
    homesweethome 2/5/2006

    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons Grey Poupon Dijon mustard

Combine all ingrdients in a medium bowl. Cover and chill to store.
    Makes 3/4 cup.

This one doesn't have vinegar, but DH has trouble with lemon juice, too. I'll put it down just in case.

    2 cloves garlic -- pressed
    2 teaspoons sugar
    1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
    1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley -- crushed fine

    1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Use an electric mixer to beat ingredients for about 1 minute.

Thank you so much, Treble Clef. I think I like the Honey Mustard one the best since I can't have lemon juice or garlic either. Thank you so much for the recipes. They all sound great and I'm adding them to my files to serve to guests.
