  • What easy crescent roll appetizers do you make?
I love making things with crescent rolls. Sometimes I roll out the whole can and pinch together the seams. Then I spread a little B-b-q sauce on it and then layer roast beef and cheese or ham amd cheese, rollit up like a log. Cut into 12 pieces and bake at 375 until browned, 10 to 15 minutes. Anyone else have some quicky ideas?

    Pesto Roll-Ups

    Recipe is from:
"The Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook"

    1 package refrigerated crescent rolls
    Pesto

Unroll dough and separate into triangles. Spread each with pesto. Cut each triangle in half, making 16 long triangles. Roll up triangles and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 375F oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Serve warm.

Not a real quicky but easy. I also posted 2 other crescent roll appetizer recipes in appetizers yesterday.

    Tree-Shaped Crescent Veggie Appetizers

Veggie trays, move over! This colorful tree-shaped appetizer will add an interesting twist to your appetizer buffet.

    Ingredients:

2 (8-oz.) cans Pillsbury® Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup sour cream
    1 teaspoon dried dill weed
    1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
3 cups finely chopped assorted vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrot, cucumber and/or green onions)
    Preparation Directions:

    2. Place slices, cut side down, on ungreased cookie sheets to form trees. To form each tree, start by placing 1 slice for top; arrange 2 slices just below, with sides touching. Continue arranging row of 3 slices, then row of 4 slices, ending with row of 5 slices. Use remaining slice for trunk. Refrigerate one tree.
    3. Bake one tree at 375°F. for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute; carefully loosen with pancake turner and slide onto wire rack to cool. Bake and cool second tree.
    4. Place each tree on serving platter. In small bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, dill and garlic powder; blend until smooth. Spread mixture over both trees. Decorate trees with assorted vegetable pieces. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate until serving time. To serve, pull apart slices of tree.

    Hi,

I forgot to say that when I made the Christmas Tree Veggie Pizza's I used cream cheese, mayo and ranch dressing mix (old Pampered Chef recipe) instead of the topping they suggested.

Hello-I do like crash does, in fact today for dd's party, we did hotdogs regular size rolled in the crescents and the kids just loved them. Also this month the pillsbury book out at the checkouts I saw at Wal-mart has Holiday Appetizers & Desserts as its title and hass on front cover ham and veggie crescent wreath that looks good and next mont they are putting out for their catalog meals with crescents, biscuits and more. Also, Pampered Chef site might have several recipes as they have a lot of recipes that use convenience foods.
