I always cook frozen sausage patties in a iron skillet. I was thinking maybe I can use the grill to cook them. Has anyone done this, and how long would did you cooked them?

I never cooked them frozen, but I have after they thawed out. Never timed them, just took them out when they looked brown. The book that came with the grill says for 3/4" thick, 5 1/2 minutes for rare, 6 1/2 minutes for medium, and 7 1/2 minutes for well done.

    c3clark, It worked out perfectly.
I cooked them for maybe 14 minutes because I wanted to make sure they were cooked well. I'm like that with pork. From now on I'm going to cooked them on the grill. A lot less mess cooking them that way.

    Thank you again!

Glad they worked for you. Whenever we have pork sausage, I always do it on the george forman. I like that so much better than them sitting in a frying pan full of grease.
