There's one with potato, onion, and ground beef. Then all you need is ketchup. I'll look tomorrow to see if I can find the amounts. Oh, wait. I think it had a can of soup.
I better just shut up and go back to bed. Lynn in Cabot

Before I go, there's the bone in turkey with a can of cranberry, any type, and a package of onion soup.

This recipe is actually from TOH, and it is a favorite of everyone who tries it!

Italian Roast Beef (French Dip) Sandwiches-Mom3boys

1 Chuck Roast (about 3 pounds)
    1 pkg. "Au Jus" mix-dry
    1 pkg. Italian dressing mix-dry
    1 can beef broth
    1/2 can water

Spray your crock pot with PAM. Put chuck roast in it.
Combine all other ingredients and whisk till smooth.
Pour over roast. Put on lid. Cook on high for 6 hours
or low for 10-12 hours. Take out beef (it will fall apart)
and cut off fat. Shred & put meat back in juice. Cut chewy French bread
into sandwich size pieces, and split lengthwise.
Fill with beef, and use a turkey baster to get beef
juice from crock pot and pour on bread (grease has risen to the top).
    Eat and enjoy!!!

1 beef roast, large enough to fit in your crockpot
1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix
    1 pkg. brown gravy mix
    1 pkg. Italian dressing mix
    1/2 C. warm water

Place roast in crockpot. Mix all three envelopes and
sprinkle on top of roast. Pour water in the bottom of the
crockpot. Cover and cook on low 6 to 7 hours.

Note: Can use half of seasoning packages without
jeopardizing the taste. Also you can add more water at
    end for more gravy

I made this today and it is really good.

I only used 3 chicken breasts and half the tomatoes, dry mix and tomato sauce.

The sauce is to die for.

1 bag frozen boneless chicken breasts (2 pounds)
1 Pkg. French's Brand Italian Spaghetti Sauce - dry mix (I use Jewel's brand)
1 Small can diced tomatoes [approx. 15 oz]
1 Small can tomato sauce [8 oz]
    Parmesan Cheese*

Place the chicken in the crock. Sprinkle the dry mix spaghetti sauce over top. Add the can of tomatoes and the can of tomato sauce. Cook all day [7 to 9 hours] on LOW or 1/2 Day [3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours] on HIGH.
Serve with Penne pasta. Top with Parmesan Cheese.

*I sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on in the beginning. I sprinkle shredded Mozzarella cheese on right before serving.

If you do not use frozen breasts, it does not take all that time. Mine was half frozen and only took 3 hours. One on hi and the rest on low...

My DH's favorite pulled pork is just a pork roast and a bottle of Jack Daniels Original BBQ sauce. Cook on low 10 to 12 hours, shred into sauce, mix, serve on rolls or texas toast.
