    This may be a silly question, but I would also like to know how many cups of icing sugar equal 1 pound. Thanks.

    My notes say 4 Cups of sugar will get you one lb.

    PEANUT BUTTER AND CHOCOLATE RICE
    KRISPIE TREATS

    6 c. Cocoa Rice Krispies
    1 c. Karo syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. peanut butter
    1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa

    Mix Karo syrup, sugar, and cocoa; bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat; add peanut butter and mix well. Pour over cereal and press into a greased 9x13 inch pan.


    Peanut Butter Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats.

    Ingredients:
    2 cups sugar
    2 cups corn syrup
    18 ounces peanut butter
    8 cups puffed rice cereal
    6 ounces butterscotch chips
    6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

    Directions:

    Bring sugar and syrup to a boil. Add peanut butter and cook, stirring until well blended. Remove from heat and pour hot mixture over cereal. Mix quickly and thoroughly. Spread in a greased 9x12x2 inch pan.

    Sprinkle butterscotch and chocolate morsels over top. Press morsels into bar mixture lightly with spoon. When cool, cut into bars and store at room temperature.

    These are not made into balls but sure are yummy!

    Chocolate Yummies

    Preparation Time: 20 minutes
    Total Time: 1 hour 20 minutes
    Servings: 36
    Ingredients
    7 Crackers Keebler® Grahams Original rectangular cracker sheets
    2 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
    1 package (12 oz., 2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    2/3 cup light corn syrup
    3 tablespoons butter or margarine
    1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
    3 cups Ready-To-Eat Cereal Rice Krispies®

    Directions
    1. Coat 13 x 9 x 2-inch microwave safe dish with cooking spray. Arrange Keebler Grahams Original crackers in a single layer over bottom of dish, breaking crackers as needed to fit. Sprinkle marshmallows evenly over crackers.

    2. Microwave on HIGH 1 minute or until marshmallows are puffy. Remove from microwave. Cool completely.

    3. In 2-quart microwave safe mixing bowl, combine chocolate morsels, corn syrup and butter. Microwave at HIGH about 1 1/2 minutes or until chocolate is melted, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in peanut butter. Add Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal, mixing until combined.

    4. Spread evenly over marshmallows. Cover and refrigerate about 1 hour or until firm. Cut and store in airtight container in refrigerator.

    CONVENTIONAL DIRECTIONS: Follow step 1 above using 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake at 375°F about 7 minutes or until marshmallows are puffy. Cool completely. In medium saucepan combine chocolate morsels, corn syrup and butter. Cook stirring constantly, over medium-low heat until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter. Add cereal, mixing until combined. Complete as in step 4 above.

    *NOTE: Each cracker sheet measures about 5 x 2-inches and is scored into 4 pieces.

    PEANUT BUTTER BALLS

    Effort: easy
    Comments: Shelby was in junior high I think when he first made these.

    Ingredients:
    18 oz. crunchy or smooth peanut butter
    3 cup rice krispy
    2 cup powder sugar
    big Hershey bar

    Instructions:
    Mix & refrigerate first 3 ing. When cold enough, roll into balls
    Melt Hershey
    Roll ball in it.
    Put on wax paper
    Yum

    Chocolate Peanut Butter Crispy Balls

    1 (18 ounce size) jar of peanut butter
    2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
    1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup chocolate chips

    In a double boiler over low heat, melt chocolate and set aside. In a medium sized bowl, combine all other ingredients. Blend well until mixture forms a dough. Roll into 1-inch balls. Using a toothpick or fork, dip the balls into the chocolate until well coated. Place onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
