Found this recipe on food.ivillage by Sue Johansen. It was easy and my family enjoyed the treat.
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 oz. package of walnut chips (I added these to add more flavor)
Mix all together.
Spread in lightly greased 8" x 8" or 9" x 9" pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Cool and sprinkle with 2 tbls. confectioners' sugar (I did not add conf. sugar).
Cut into 12 squares.
