I tried this last night but it didn't show up,so I'll try again. I lost my recipe for pecan pie that Ann Landers had in her column. It's to late to request it again. Does anyone happen to have it?? It is easy and delicious. It's my husbands favorite and I always make it for christmas. thanks for your help. murbabe
I'm assuming this is the one you're looking for,"dear Abby's" recipe.....this is the one we use and love it!
1 9-inch pie shell; unbaked1 cup white corn syrup1 cup dark brown sugar; firmly packed⅓ teaspoon sea salt⅓ cup unsalted butter; melted1 teaspoon vanilla3 eggs; slightly beaten1 heaping cup pecan halvesWhipped Cream or Ice Cream1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.2.
In a large mixing bowl combine syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla
and mix well. Add slightly beaten eggs. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle pecans over all.3. Bake in preheated oven for approximately 45 to 50 minutes. When cool, you may top with Whipped Cream or Ice Cream.

Ann Landers' Pecan Pie
1 Cup White Corn Syrup
1 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
1/3 Cup Melted Butter
1 Cup Pecans (heaping Cup)
3 Eggs, Beaten
Dash of Vanilla
Pinch of Salt
Mix ingredients well. Pour into unbaked 9" pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
