I saw Mackerel in the store, but have never prepared it and am curious. What does it taste like?

Wouild it need a strong sauce or a highly seasoned recipe to mask the fishy flavor?
not sure chefly.....I usually use it to make 'salmon' patties.....
So it isn't that fishy if you can make 'salmon' patties with it. You don't soak it in milk to remove the fishy flavor do you?
'I' don't.......I just use it just like I do salmon...

It tastes like Cat food Smells... yucky, there is a reason that it is cheap... it sucks... stinks up the house like old sweaty fishy socks...
