These sound really good....one quick question....it says to blend the 8 oz. of cream cheese, but then doesn't say what to do with it. Do you mix it in with the brownie mix? Do you swirl it over the top?
This is my kind of recipe for sure-raspberries, jalapenos, cream cheese AND chocolate? YUM!
Thanks so much,
Hi Carol, she must have fixed the post, or did you not see that you spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled brownies?
I've had spicy choc. b4, it is goooooood! Thanks Twila!
Interesting recipe especially with the pepper, I'll have to give it a try. The way I'm reading it is you add the 8 oz cream cheese to the batter and the 6 oz is for the frosting. Right?
I'm reading the recipe the same as I did the first time.....there's 8 oz. of cream cheese that gets blended in a bowl.....then do you add it to the brownie mix or swirl it through to sort of marble it?
There's 6 oz. of cream cheese that is separate from that that goes into the frosting.....I'm reading that the same way you are, Cathy.
Anyone know where that 8 oz. is supposed to go?
Bumping up for Twila..................
Interesting. Thanks for posting.
I’m curious about what to do with the 8oz. CC too Carol.
I have a feeling what she meant was:
In a bowl blend cream cheese, brownie mix, oil, water, raspberry jam and eggs with a spoon stirring 35 times.

It sure does look that way, doesn't it Jan? Is that right, Twila?
