    Comments:  I've also done this in the slow cooker. It does great.

    I've also done it over low heat on top of the stove. In the summer that keeps your house from heating up.  I got this recipe out of a little booklet we found while on vacation.  We had stayed at a little Bed and Breakfast and went in and visited the little shops in the small town.  I found a little booklet with chicken recipes and this was in it.  It's a favorite of ours. I did some tweaking of some of the ingredients to make it more “us”.

    This recipe would also be very easy to cut down for 2 people.



    4 deboned & skinned chicken breast

    1  (10 1.2oz.) cans creamed chicken soup

    8 oz. can sliced mushrooms

    1/4 c. chopped green onion

    1/2 c. milk (can use 1 or 2% milk)

    1/4 c. white wine

    Cooked rice



    In a greased casserole dish place chicken breast.

    Mix remaining ing. & pour over chicken & bake 350

    1 hr. - 1 1/4 hr. or until chicken test done

    Serve over rice

     "Average is as close to the bottom as to the top"

     Thank you for the recipe, C.K.  It sounds like my kind of recipe:  easy and good.  How do I know it's good?  With a name like that, it just has to be!
