Wanted: Shoney's Sausage and Rice

I'm looking for a recipe for Rice and Sausage that was served at Shoney's restaurants. It was on their breakfast bar. It was a "dry" recipe in that it did not have a sauce on it. It used regular sausage (seemed to be medium hot). I don't know what other spices were used in it. Does anyone know how to make this dish? It was simple but delicious. I'd love to make it at home. The restauarant is no longer in the town where I ate the rice for me to see if the recipe would be available.

I can't help you but would also like to have the recipe. I loved that stuff and we no longer have a Shoneysf either.
