Ingredients:butter, cocoa, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, milk and vanilla.
It makes a big batch, and there are just 2 of us. He likes it spread between graham crackers, so we only use a little at a time. I prefer to make a whole recipe, rather than mess up the kitchen for a bit at a time.
don't know why not, the only thing I can think is it might separate a little, but you could just mix it again. I would freeze in small portions if that's all you use at once. Yum, my mom used to give us the graham cracker with frosting treats, thanks for reminding me!

My mom always froze leftover frosting of the same type you are speaking of and so do I. I agree with the other post---freeze in an amount that you will use all at once (several small batches, in the case you mentioned).
Thank you. I like to avoid the gazillion preservatives/ingredients added to the tubbed frosting when I can, so I will give it a shot. If it ends up runny, I will have nice sauce for dipping the grahams into, won't I? Can't lose..
