Good hump day norning,what a mess last night,after 6 tries I gave up but it looks like the last one posted.lol I slept good last night. Hope today will be better and be smooth. Have yourself a good day. Depo!!!

Paulette (Dorothy)  Are you in Kansas yet???  If this should happen again....go to Itasca State Park, get in the Mississippi and float down here....I will snatch you out of the river as you are going by.

I was unable to get on here last night, at all....finally gave it up and went to the big chair.  I need to spackle the pantry today...finally got the paper torn off.....talk about a killer on the neck.  Have a great day all.

Diane - Glad you slept well GF!  Did you get all your shopping/errands in town done yesterday?  Good luck with the spackling project......take some breaks so you don't hurt your neck.

Karen - So glad you got your dress!  Enjoy your lunch today with the girls!  That will be fun.

Pegg - Great to see you pop in.  Our tomatoes are still expensive and never go low in price even in the summer.  Hope you get some really good ones soon!

Chris - It's going to be a scorcher here today and I'm sure for you too.....that's all people are talking about - extremely hot & humid & we're in a heat advisory and will feel like over 100º!

Pat - Hope your area gets a little more rain since you need it!

Elaine - I see today is your last day of work for the week if I am reading your post right.  Hope the day goes by fast and is piece of cake for you so you can enjoy a few days off!!!

Paulette - I hope those bad storms went through your area without any damage last night!

I had a nice phone call from Bren last night.....it's always great to hear from our friend from down under!!  After Bren's phone call and spur of the moment we went over to DS and DDIL house for dinner last night........had a delicious bbq.  Tonight everybody is coming over to our house to celebrate a belated Father's Day since we were not home on Sunday.  I'm going easy.......I'm ordering Chinese take out from our favorite Chinese restaurant......got everything picked out and will call it in later!   Will do regular stuff today and work in the basement tomorrow and Friday.  I need to run some errands and finish up the laundry that I started yesterday.  I want to pick up something for DH.....probably a summery type of shirt.

Good morning~ Hope you are o.k. in MN. Paulette. They say we are to get the storms tonight. Maybe they have rocks as you were to get it last night? Maybe another system who knows. Had 1" solid hard downpour in Sioux City Sat. morning and nothing here.

Diane I did that to my kitchen a few years ago, yes you talk about a neck breaker and it was. I really soaked it down with spray bottles of warm water and used scraper and got it all off and could paint it after all that. Walls were pretty good. There were some old prints of paper on there.

DH left to go to NE for state shoot this week. Left last night and be back Sunday he says. No cooking for this lady vacation time,  me and Red!

Had to take MIL to eye Dr. She had 3 eye lashes in her bad eye and was not putting drops in properly. So they made her a chart to go by and a cover to put over eye to drop a drop in her eye so will see if she does it right. She has 3 different drops to put in. Her pressure was terrible again 35 in one eye and 25 in other. Because she was not putting drops in her eyes properly or didn't do it! So missed my hair appt. and will go Thursday now. Can't you feel eye lashes in eye and get them out? I think I could. Its done and over and I am not 92 yrs old and so help me if I ever get that old, Take me for a boat ride in deep water!

Hi Marlene - I hope your storms aren't too bad tonight.  You will enjoy your no cooking vacation for a few days, that is for sure!  I know I would too!  Just eating what you want and when you want is a nice change of pace. LOL about getting older but in all seriousness hope MIL will be able to get all those drops in correctly.

Heidi,  I did feel like I accomplished something yesterday.....we found and bought most of the lighting for the kitchen....they have such beautiful lights, but the problem is, they don't give out any light.  I think we found what we need, to see.  It sounds as if you have a busy one today.  It was nice that you got to spend time with DS and DIL for dinner last evening....what a treat.  Enjoy your Fathers Day celebration tonight.

Marlene,  You crack me up....I have never heard of a boat ride in deep water, but I guess we all gotta go someway. LOL.  I always wondered why old people hired the work done in their homes......I know now....my neck is telling me. I probably should just paint in there and let it go.....but I feel like I need some sort of personality in this kitchen area. I would imagine mine won't be worth a crap by the time I finish this job. Good morning everyone ~ Add me to the list of those who could not access the BB last night. Also, add me to the "sleep well" list. Have breakfast over with (both of them - just cooked and served at different times) DS off to work and the kitchen cleaned up. Need to run to school in a bit (paycheck pick up time) and DH needs to run a few errands so we will go together. I am thinking baked spaghetti, salad and garlic bread for supper.

Diane ~ LOL on your comment about the kitchen's and your personality. I am still in the planning stage...so much to decide. Of course, my doesn't include any wallpaper or painting. My kitchen walls are paneling except for the wall behind the stove. I will get there. How is Mia fairing with all these changes? I know Hammy and the rest of their crew was wild when Curt and Diane did some recent renovations.

Heidi ~ A phone call from Bren is always good for the soul. She is such a sweetie. Ooo...Chinese...I'll have cashew chicken please. LOL  Have a time tonight celebrating. Tell Greg belated Happy Fathers' Day from me.

Marlene ~ LOL on your comment of the deep water boat ride. I see you are going to have a mini-vacation...homestyle. Enjoy your me time. Sorry to hear that MIL is once again experiencing eye problems. At that age it is difficult for them to understand. My DFIL is 95 and he does great with things like that. Of course, I think he is the exception to every rule. Love that guy!

Paulette ~ Are things okay in your area? That was some pretty nasty weather predicted for your area. Hope all is well.

Good morning, I slept very well last night and for that I am thankful. LOL

I think DH has left for the farm already, at least the truck is gone. I think he is spending the night there too and that will be a nice break to leave me more time to get ready to go here. I am soon going into the new office to pick up keys and a security code then to hair appointments and man do I need it. Kristen and I went into the old office yesterday as she needed a treatment. Hmmm, kinda weird, the old doctor was glad to see me but she acted a bit defensive. Whatever, I guess she just suffered a big loss. LOL

Diane, good luck on that spackling job. We once had to do our whole house when we renovated. All 2000 square feet, awful job.

I am going to get clothes into the trailer when I get back from lunch and also need to water my plants. My patio tomato I have named Oscar, LOL, is growing me some really nice fruit. I hope Kristen does not kill him while I am gone. The ones in the garden have not done a thing since I put them in over a month ago. I planted Dales garden a couple weeks ago and their stuff is growing like crazy, whatever, nobody will starve.

Good Morning Depo & Everybody!

This is just the strangest thing - after all of the hoopla about tornadoes, torrential rain, etc., I woke up this morning to absolutely DRY pavement!  Not one single drop of rain had fallen and the sun was out!  What???  We just had a very brief shower come through, but nothing like they were predicting - at least not yet.  Poor Gwen, she gets soooo nervous about any type of storm, but all this hype about one to not have it happen, just about did her right in.  She was awake all night and nervous as all get out, poor little thing.

I'm not sure WHAT I'm going to do today - so many chores, so many excuses not to do them!  LOL  I'm sure that I'll manage to get something done today, just don't know what that might be yet. 

Depo - Yes, what was up with this site last night anyway?  I just about gave up and decided to try it one last time and it finally worked.  UGH!  I hope that you're having a good day today and will be home soon!

Diane - No need for me to head north to get to the Mississippi, I can hook up with it less than a half an hour south of me.  I'll be the one lounging on the air mattress with my long johns on.......it's only in the very low 70's right now.  Brrr.  I hope that your neck starts feeling a bit better as the day goes on.  Painting & wallpapering are horrible triggers for both my neck & back pain.

Heidi - It sounds like you had a fun night last night, with another fun one coming up tonight.  I hope that you can accomplish a lot today - it sounds like you've got plenty of job waiting to be done.  UGH!

Marlene - I hope that your MIL can get the eye drops figured out.  Eye pressure that high is NOT a good thing.  I know that when I got that bungee strap hook in my eye, that they were nervous that the pressure number was going to go higher than 20 which was NOT good.  Hopefully all will go as planned on Thursday so that you can get to your appointment.

Rosa - Maybe you could check and see if they have a paycheck laying there for me as well.  I used to have Debbie pick me up some money from the bank as long as she was going there, but I think that she's onto me because she doesn't seem to post on here when she's going to the bank anymore.  Hmmmm.  LOL  Enjoy your supper tonight, spaghetti sounds delicious!

Karen - ANOTHER busy day for you today I see!  Hopefully everything will go off without a hitch and your day will be as smooth as glass - that'd be a nice change-of-pace I'm sure.

Well I'm off to get some stuff done - I have a feeling that I may end up with the big boys coming home early as it just might rain some more.  Who knows anymore - maybe it'll dump ten feet of snow on us instead.  LOL

I did post this with writing but it didn't show up. Now I am out of time for now, I will try to get back later, I wanted to show you all my garden and tell Diane that we still have no rain.

Had a good work out.....we have a new class - strength training,  and the teacher is a young girl.....just love the class and the teacher....she pushes us more (it is torture) and plays great, fun music while we work out - well, you know I love that!  Much different from the other classes. 

I just finished cleaning the downstairs.....well, at least I cleaned what I thought people would notice, lol.  Got the table set, dishes to serve in, etc. Sitting for a minute before I shower and head to the department store for a gift.  Then I'll make an almond cake and slice up fresh strawberries.  Oh my gosh, you wouldn't believe the heat today - when you open the door it "hits" you!  I feel sorry for people who work outside today. 

Diane ~ I'm glad you feel you got a lot accomplished yesterday.  I agree with you, there are a lot of neat lights ot there....I I love looking at all the varieties  .I guess you're right that many of them wouldn't put out as much light as we would need to work in the kitchen....I love paint.....so I am pushing for you to paint, lol.

Rosa - One of the Chinese dishes I'm ordering is Cashew Chicken.....I don't think I've ordered that in awhile so I thought it might be good for a change.  Come on up, and I'll set a place setting for you! 

Karen - Happy Birthday to Dallas!!!  You are so right, where does the time go?  I hope your DS has a great day today!

Paulette - That is good news that the big storm passed you by.  Poor Gwen, she's lucky to have you for a friend.

Good afternoon ya'll, work was good. Rhonda called and asked if I was going to the garden,told her yes and she wants to go with me. WOO HOO. Beautiful garden Deb, that will keep you very busy in no time.Sorry we missed your special day,simply didn't have it on my list but it's there now. Need to get ready. BBL. Depo!!!

Hello- I am home from work. I only got in 5 hours today. There was a thunder storm that went thru here so things got cancelled. Now the sun is just coming out so I am thinking that I will be going back to work for the evening stuff at 4:30 at least I hope so.

We are leaving tomorrow for Country Moon Jam . Which is by Walker Minnesota, I wish we were going further south though as Last night by our place at the lake they had golf and baseball size hail and I am so worried about the camper and addition. They were showing it on the news last night and it came down straight and had lots of jagged edges. It will be next weekend before we are able to go there and see if we had any damage.

Well, I better get off of here and get packed for tomorrow,lol. I should pull out the pop-up camper and wash it down but I am hoping dh will do that when he gets off of work tonight or we both will be doing it in the morning.
