I made a pasta salad a couple weeks ago I found on the search, now I can't find it!! I used tri-color pasta, & it called for 2/3 cup ranch dressing, 1/3 cup italian dressing, dill weed, cauliflower, broccoli and don't remember what else. Oh,I also use Salad Supreme too! Can anyone help? I didn't have the veggies, so I substituted imitation crab & it was excellent!!!!!

My modified version:
Summertime Pasta Salad
2-1/2 cups uncooked spiral pasta (I used 1/2 box)
1 - 10 oz frozen mixed vegetables ( I used 1 pkg of imitation crab)
2/3 cup ranch salad dressing
1/3 cup Italian dressing
1/2 teaspoon dill weed--(I used 1 teaspoon or so)
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
2 small tomatoes--(left that out) ( I used 1 small shallot, chopped, or maybe 3 green onions)
2 - tablespoons of McCormick Salad Supreme
In a large kettle, cook pasta according to pkg. directions. Place frozen vegetables in a strainer. Poor cooked pasta & water over vegetables to thaw; rinse & drain well. In a small bowl, combine rest of ingredients with a wisk. Pour over pasta & mix gently. Chill. ( After cooking the pasta, I drained & shocked it in ice water to cool faster)

CardinalPull have you ever tried Stars Pasta Crab salad? I did this review back on Oct 15 of 2009, have made it over and over and in fact just made again this week to take to church pot luck. I know it isn't the exact same as the one you may have wanted, but this is also a great keeper too.
