Good morning my friends, Paulette was right, I'm up at my usual time.Just that built in alarm I guess.Another scorcher called for today.UGH. Need to clean out my car and do a load of laundry then call it a day.Stay cool today. Depo!!!

Good morning~ Will try this again, got knocked off the internet! Sorry to hear your built in alarm clock got you up so early, Dennis, It is the berries when you want to sleep. I have all my duties done for the morning and will leave shortly here. Will be another fun, fun day I am sure.

Good Morning Depo & Everybody!

It's going to be a hot & humid one today, so I'm going to be in a good mood - better take advantage of it while you can!  LOL  More laundry today and then I just might get some other much-needed jobs done as well if the phones permit.

Depo - That's the way it always seems to be, when you CAN sleep in, you CAN'T!  I may just follow your lead and wash & wax my truck today and polish the chrome.  You DID notice that I said "may" didn't you?  LOL  Come tonight, I could just be telling you that I managed to wash one load of clothes too!  LOL

Marlene - Please let this week be better for you than last week was!  I would be frustrated beyond belief - it's probably a VERY good thing that I'm not in your shoes and depending on a paycheck because I would most likely be job-less come this morning.  LOL

Depo- I am so sorry you couldn’t sleep in but look at it this way, your day will be longer therefore your vacation will be longer! LOL And Naps are cool things right? Enjoy what ever you do today!

Marlene- I too hope today is a good one for you! Take deep breaths and think of your happy place! LOL

Miss P- I did finally get all my laundry done last night. Finished folding clothes at around 11 pm! LOL I hope you do get some things accomplished today! Even if it is just one thing! LOL

Well it is sure nice to have my computer back as of last night! I think I now remember what it was like before they were invented! LOL Relaxing ? Boring? LOL Oh well I just know I do not want to go backwards!

Good Morning Everyone....

Depo,  Just perfect proof....old habits are hard to break.  I always blamed the getting up early when on vacation was because I didn't want to miss any of it.  LOL.

Marlene,  Hopefully this week will not be filled with so much pressure....you deserve a break.  Are you toting that pie to work today???

Paulette,  We are going up in temp today, as well.  I am so excited!!!  Ugh!!!!  I am going out this morning and work on a couple of bins that need to be sanded and painted....I will be starting that very soon and hope to beat the worst of it....or the best of it...for you.

I recieved a phone call from BJ last night.....It was not a good connection.  She wanted me to let everyone know she is okay other than the asthma kicking up.  She said it was very humid where she is.  She has rented a living space that is attached to an older couples home...she said she had a wonderful screened in porch and a nice view of the water.  She hasn't started a cottage yet, as she is flipping land and has not totally settled on the exact place.  She is without computer service but she said someone told her there are computers at a library in a town not too far from her.  She hopes to check that out soon.  She said she misses everyone terribly and hopes to reconnect in the near future.

I am on my way out to get started....I will be back for a break.   Have a great day all.

Well the AC will be going back on shortly as we're in for another hot week.  A few days we didn't have it on at all and the weather at night was great for sleeping.  Not anymore.

Glad you heard from BJ Diane, at least we all know she's alright. 

Diane hope you're out there already doing the sanding.  The weather here in the shade in the mornings is gorgeous but then the sun starts heating up.  How are you doing with your remodel?   Oh how I remember those days.   But....I didn't do as much of it as you are doing. 

Dennis enjoy that vacation.  Those days seem to go by twice as fast as the work days do. 

Hi to everyone else that pops in later today.  Need to decide what to have for tonight and get it out.  We had a crockpot dinner yesterday.  Wish I could get away with those every day they are so easy.

Good morning, we are off to the gc this morning til wednesday afternoon so I will be out of touch. I just have my phone now to get my emails.

It is warm here too and the crops are moving right along, so far we have been lucky enough to miss the hail but it certainly has been around. We are not safe til it is in the bin.

Too bad about not sleeping in Depo, but it will be easier to go back to work in the habit of getting up early.....I wish there were times I could sleep in too but I never can. I see your gonna be really heating up today, stay cool.

Glad to see your gonna put your foot down on the dealing with the newbies Marlene.....you needs that...your so nice to bring in treats to work that more than enough for above and beyone the call of duty, your so good to everybody, so glad I have gotten to know you on here...

 I am so glad you heard from BJ, glad she is doing good and I only have one thing to say about the comment made last night, "if I have nothing good to say about someone, I say nothing at all".

I have the windows open but it is humid and cloudy our right now, I am thinking about shutting things up before it gets too uncomfortable.

I got the place halfway cleaned up and trying to finish up laundry. I boiled some beets that need peeling, slicing and freezing.

DGS is here and napping right now so I am gonna have to get moving before he gets up.

Hi Nan, I am not sure about dinner either, I think it will be something turkey.... we made one on the grill yesterday and it was really good but now I need to use it up. Stay cool GF.

Hi Karen, enjoy your time at the gc, should be fun for you, no hassles this time.

 I gave in and have DGS again, they tried a different sitter and it did not work out, well this girl had 11 other kids, which I think is illegal but anyways DDIL was leary (Thank God) and did a surprise visit... we it did not go well and he is back here. They have decided to get some things in order and then DDIL is going to stay home, I think it is the best for DGS, she also grooms dogs part time so she is going to try to focus on doing that instead of her full time job.

I went and got my all ( oil) changed then came back and started my last load of laundry and sliced,breaded and put the last of the eggplant in the freezer. Got ready to plop my hiney in the chair and remembered the laundry needed to be put in the dryer.Just remembered I have to make the bed up too. GRRRRR. Depo!!!

Hi everyone. I am off for a little while this afternoon. There is no girls softball. Instead of just finishing it today, they took the day off and are having the end tomorrow. GGGRRRR!!!!! I would of loved to of been done today.

I came home and walked into the house and I said to dh aren't you surprised to see me, he said who cares,lol. I would of gotten mad but he was making lasagna (homemade) it surprised me as he has never made it before. He just put it in the oven and sat down in his recliner and said that stuff is expensive to make and it is work, duh,lol, why do you think I don't make it to often. He siad that ricotta cheese is over $4.00. I don't have to be back at the diamonds until 5pm. So here I am playing on here.

Tonight at 5:15 pm. I have to call to see if my # was selected for jury duty, lets all hope not.

Depo- I hope by now you are getting a nap in. Have you thought of something fun to do on your vacation?

Marlene- I hope your work day is speeding by and this week is alot better then last week.

Paulette- When you are done with your truck, my car could sure use a wash. Between the dirt from the diamonds and the dust from the lake it  is never clean anymore.

Chris- I had forgot that I had started laundry when I got home yesterday from the lake. So I thru the towels in the dryer a few minutes ago. I bet you were glad to get yours out of the way.

Diane- Bins to be sanded? Like grain bins? I am sorry but I am lost. We are also hot here but there is a breeze so it's not so bad.

Nan- I wish I oculd come up with some crockpot meals,lol. They would be so easy and less heat then this oven thing. I can't wait until it gets cooler so I can make things like meatloaf, chili , etc. I love comfort foods the best.

Karen- I am sure you have left by now, but I wish you a fun filled couple of days.

Deb- Where do you live? I just can't remember. I was thinking you were around this State, but since you have beets ready, now I am not for sure. Good thing your daughter in law did that surprise visit. In our paper today, there was a daycare (not sure where at) but she had locked 3 kids in shed as she had gotten a surprise visit from the State and she was over booked. Well, good thing someone saw her put them in there.

The dryer just buzzed with the towels so I better get them folded and back in the basket to take back out to the lake.

Hi Elaine, I have my last load in the dryer too. Glad to see you got a little time off, sure is nice of DH to make dinner, I used cottage cheese in Lasagna it is cheaper and just as good to me.

 Yes I sure am glad about DDIL doing that, she said she did not have a good feeling about it, I am so glad she cares like that, so hard to trust nowadays.

 I live in Indiana and I planted my beets in March cause it was so warm this year, I planted some more beets and beans yesterday hoping for a late crop.

Well I shut up the house and turned on the air, it got too hot out. Still do not know what supper will be, I will wait for DH and see what he wants.
