Just for you to put on your calendar - the next TOH BB Luncheon will be held Sat., Sept. 29, 2012, at 11:30 am. Please note, new time - and - new location: My Brothers Place, 2058 Leesburg Grove City Rd., Mercer, PA 16137. I will only keep this post bumped a couple days, then two weeks before the get-together, I will do a fresh post, and do a count of those wishing to attend.
If you are new to the BB, we have a get-together in the Grove City, PA area every spring and fall. We had been going to Hoss' for years, but wanted a change of pace. The Grove City Outlets are close, that it would be a good time to start on the early holiday shopping. The area is beautiful. Everybody, whether lurkers or participating BB'ers are welcome plus their families, friends, and neighbors! If you want a nice vacation, that is the perfect place to go that time of year.
Nancy usually attends our get-togethers and is a Field Editor. There are several other field editors from the western half of PA. How about some more of you coming this time?? (Sue - hope you can also attend!).
In the meantime, feel free to give me suggestions concerning doing somehting for charity. Usually in the fall, we will do something (such as donate books to the women's shelter, donate goods to a pet shelter, bring cans for the food bank).
Would be wonderful to have a big turnout!!

We will be happy to see "the Vermonter" once again!! Glad to hear that you and also Sue will be coming from out-of-state to attend, and hopefully some more from all over the country, or the world!! Maybe someday we can get Bren back from Australia and do a special BB luncheon!
Western Pa is a great place to visit. Grove City is home of Wendell August Forge. You can watch them make their wares at the factory. Near Grove City is the community of Volant. The quaint shops are worth visiting - and you will see Amish country and perhaps pass some horse-drawn buggies.
Will look forward to seeing all the BBers - looks like we may have a nice turnout!

Bren, I wish you could come again. That sure would be a long trip all the way from Austrilia but you did it once, I hope you'll do it again. . The year after we met and you joined us by phone all the way from Australia was one of my favorite get together moments. Hopefully, you'll be back in the states and can join us again.
Chris, I'm so please that we'll be seeing the Vermonters again. Since you'll be in the area an extra day you'll be able to visit all the sites that Brenda mentioned in addition to shopping at the Outlet Mall across the road. Who doesn't love to shop?
This message is for all the BBers in PA, Ohio, and WV. These gals are traveling such a long distance to join us. We must be having a great time. This get together is practically in your back yard. Please come and join us. You won't be sorry. If you're concerned about meeting people from the internet by yourself, don't be. Bring your friends, neighbors, and family. We have had many husbands, kids, and grandkids. You don't have to come alone.
I'm sending a big shout out to Brenda for planning the get togethers twice a year. Thank you for all the work and preparation that you put into getting us together each fall and spring.
I'm looking forward to seeing all my old ( I mean current) friends and hope to meet a lot of new friends this time.
