Have a grateful day.
Linda
Good morning all~ It is a cold 52* here this morning and feels cold in here. That is unusual for me to be cold. Maybe the body is changing.
Hope everyone has a good day today. Thinking of Paulette and hope the pain is being helped for her. Really feel sorry for her.
Enjoy the day.
Marlene

From last night:
Paulette - Feel better soon! (((HUGS))) See you when you feel well enough to visit with us! Take care.
Sharon - Have a good day back to work today after having some time off! Hope the desk isn't as loaded with papers as you might think.......wishful thinking, I know! Looking forward to seeing you more often!
Karen - Good luck w/ the lawyer - you will be busy being the interim business manager! Have fun with the new microwave once the guys get it in!
Diane - Glad you had a good day in town yesterday.......sounds like a long day but you got lots done......must have tasted good to have dinner out too & not have to cook!!
Chris - Have a good day today!
Rosa - Nice to try a new dish for supper and have it turn out yummy.......looking forward to seeing the recipe too if you have time to post it for Elaine.
Elaine - Wow, it sure was cold for you yesterday morning.......brrrrr! I'm sure your co-worker and her husband appreciated you coming by to see them for a visit.
The house is picked up and I'm off to exercise classes and then a luncheon and entertainment at the community center of some sort.....I wouldn't usually go but the ladies I exercise with talked me into it! It should be fun though and it's a free lunch......soup and salad I think. I am hoping I have time later this afternoon to visit a friend of mine who just had knee replacement surgery......I've called her a couple of times and she's now up for a visit! Who know what up for dinner, but I will come up with something!
Have a good day.........
Heidi
Good Morning Everyone....
Depo, Maybe the "bossman" will totally forget today that he wanted to talk with you and he'll just leave you alone. With any luck, huh? Get all your stuff done and back home to that new chair.
Linda, Your blog today is "cool." I haven't seen anything in that grand a scale made from vegs/fruit. We used to take in the Covered Bridge Festival in Ind. and they had some interesting things from bales and rolls of hay/straw. I always call it the wrong thing, so DH tells me. LOL. Did Max do okay with the heavy rain....at least it doesn't sound like he had to deal with lightening and thunder. I did see where you had some tornado warnings in your area.
Marlene, We are cool this morning, too. I, like you, was never cold and the last couple of years I notice I am having more of those feeling chilly times. I say bring them on.....I can put on enough clothes to warm up...can't take off enough to cool down. I'll be anxious to hear what Mark found out.
Paulette, Thinking of you...as we all are!!! Hope you are getting some relief. Miss you!!!
Nan, Did you get frost last night??? It looked like it from our weather man down here. They are thinking we will be seeing it by weeks end.
We will be moving furniture out of dining room today....we decided to go with new carpet and a little remodel in there as well....like going to a sitting room type thing. We need to get the kitchen table and a couple of other things in there to exist for the next few weeks. Have a great day all.
Diane
Heidi, You have a full day.....sounds like a fun one. If worse comes to worse....go for pizza delivery tonight. That is one thing living out and away doesn't offer, so therefore, I keep frozen ones....just in case. LOL. Enjoy your day...I hope you enjoy your luncheon.
Morning
It's still cool here this morning, only 40 right now, supposed to get 70 but that sun will need to come out to do that. No sun yet.
Yes Diane we got some frost. We're out of the city area far enough that we get it even though the weather people say there was none. Neighbor across the road covered their plants. Only one I needed to be concerned about was the climbing rose and I just didn't bother with it. Will soon have to cut it back anyway. Ya know I think we went from the "steamy" summer right into the beginning of winter without too much fall in between. LOL
Ah ha Diane, I see you've found the "one thing leads to another" syndrome". Just keep those positive thoughts going and you'll enjoy it when it's all done. I'm thinking after the first of the year I may tackle one of the bathrooms. Notice I'm still "thinking". LOL
Oh I hope Paulette is starting to feel better. I read where she was going for an MRI and dr. haven't read rest of posts so from what I've read here, no one has heard any more.
Heidi sounds like you're having another busy day. Does make the days go faster.
Need to go back and read.
Have a good one.
Good morning, it is chilly here too but we have not had frost yet, it is usually time for it though.
Off to the office again today then I am making a bigger dinner as we only had soup and a grilled cheese last night, I am thinking meatloaf and perogies I bought from the local Ukranian church last week when they had their monthly luncheon.
If I do not hear anything from Miss P soon I will call her.
We are talking with a family from eastern Canada who is interested in our acreage. They are supposedely flying here in early October to view, it would be so nice not to have to look after it for another winter.
Have a good one, Karen
Good morning BB friends
Yesterday was a great day and today is already shapping up that way! Oops gotta run! TTYAL
Chris
Good Morning,
Usually bosses like that don't last long, I hope that is the case for your boss Depo.
Hi Linda, the vege art is neat. Alot of work put into it for sure.....
Hi Marlene, I hope your boss is better today. Glad you are liking the new Cpap, I am not sure on the oxygen yet but I think it is working, I thinking I am still getting used to it.
Diane, your kitchen sounds interesting, how does a Parisian kitchen look? Sounds like it is taking shape.....
Hi Nan, DH said we got a little frost too, it doesn't matter to me as we don't have anything left to worry about.
Hi Karen, good luck with your meeting today and also that you have found a buyer for your farm. I love perogies, I never had homemade ones I bet there good.
Hi Heidi, I see you have a busy day, some fun too. Enjoy it.
Hi Chris, I am not sure about the oxygen yet as it has only been 2 nights but I have slept good, so far so good.
Well I have been writing this for about the last 3 hours, DGS is here and teething, he popped one tooth a couple of days ago, he is napping finally.....
I had a good time with youngest DS yesterday, he was thrilled with the warm up meals, it should keep him happy for awhile, lol.
DH is gone this week back to WI, not sure what I am doing, resting up for when DGS gets up, lol

Good Morning Depo & Everybody!
Sorry that I haven't been here before now, but I've been in pretty rough shape these last few days. UGH! I actually went to work with Joe yesterday - well sorta. I couldn't drive myself to the clinic because of the pain & spasms and because his job site is close to the place that I had to go, I rode with him to his job which was a hair-raising experience to say the least. We had to take a long stretch of road that was down to a single lane and they had put those concrete barriers on both edges of the lane. That was fine, but what was NOT fine was that Joe decided to start sneezing all of a sudden. I just looked at him and said, "Really Joe??" Good Lord, I was sure that I was going to see a doctor that day - I just wasn't sure if it'd involve a surgeon & seeing a clergyman to give me my last communion too. We stopped at his job so that he could get his crew started. After meeting them, it explains a whole lot. We got out of the truck and immediately one to the guys yelled, "Joe! You never told us that it was 'Bring Your Toy To Work Day' today." Whatever. He dropped me off at the clinic, I got my MRI and took the elevator up a couple of floors and waited forever to see the neurologist (they were working me in). Thankfully, she slapped a pain patch on my back and gave me a heavier-duty pain pill to tide me over until she got the MRI results back later this week. Joe came back and fetched me and I spent the rest of the day tailgating at his job site - I sat on his tailgate, laid on his tailgate and did nearly half a book of crossword puzzles while leaning on his tailgate. We finally got home at 6:00-6:30 last night and I was exhausted and went to bed.
Today I feel better than I have, but I've been careful not to do anything that I'm not supposed to too. I have a lot of reading to catch up on, but I can't sit any longer. I'll catch up with all of you tonight, I just wanted you to know that I'm among the living.........until the pain meds wear off anyway.
Make it a GREAT day everybody!
Good Afternoon everyone,

Good afternoon all, I finally got to meet my new boss and he seems to be pretty cool. Another perfect day today,if it would only stay this way.Paulette, keep taking the meds and let your back get way better. Debbie, loved the rainbow and sunset. The swellling in my ankles and feet seem to be going down some so I bought 4 more pair of those circulation socks. Gonna prop 'em for a while. Depo!!!
Paulette- glad you are feeling better.
Depo- Those sock do work! Between the socks and your new chair the swelling will go down real fast.
Debbi- Beautiful photos! Love the rainbow.
Deb-Your son is very lucky to have such a great Mom!
