     I can attest to the fact this cake is really good. I made it exactly as the recipe calls for but added a little almond extract to give the flavor a bit of dimension. It is the best I have tried so far and it is the fourth white cake this week (trying to find a good one). I think not beating the whites helps a lot. You'll want to mix them well, but don't.
