RE: Attention to those seeking Country Woman recipes!
Hello Cooknmom! I was wondering if you had the recipe for Country Cinnamon Swirl Bread. I know it was in the magazine and would really like to try it. I would appreciate your sending it to me at lag@selectrec.net if you get a chance. Thanks you for your time. (I tried a post on this subject before and got no response.)

I am looking for a receipe from several years ago. I think it was called Sunshine salad. It had Caluiflower & broccoli, bacon, sunflower seeds and ? Haver tried several other receipes but we like the sauce on this one. Thanks in advance.

Can you give me any more hints as to what years it might have been in, or other features in that particular magazine? For instance, do you remember what the recipe contest was for that particular issue? I have so many years, that I would like a little more information to ease the search :)

I think that it was the summer of 2000. I took Country Woman and Taste of Home at that time. I must admit that I can't remember which one it was in. We moved that fall and a bunch of the magazines didn't make it.

I found a 99 CW magazine that had a broccoli/cauliflower contest. They had a recipe that sounded kinda close to what you're requesting. I hope one this is it. I've posted this a few different places for you.
Broccoli Cauliflower Salad
1 medium head cauliflower, broken up
1 medium head brocoli, cut up
2 c. seedless red grapes
6 green onions with tops, sliced
2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
2 T. sugar
2 T. vinegar
1/2 to 1 lb. sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
Combine the caulifower, broccoli, grapes, onions and mozzarella cheese. Combine the mayo, parmesan cheese, sugar and vinegar; pour over vegetables and toss to coat. Cover and refrgerate for at least 2 hours. Just before serving, stir in bacon.

RE: Attention to those seeking Country Woman recipes!
Hello, Cooknmom,
I cut out the recipes for the Grand Prize and second prize winners of the Sausage Sizzlers in the Jan/Feb 2004 issue. The grand prize was a Florentine type of casserole. The second prize was a stromboli type of pizza. I must have put the cards in a "safe place" and now I can't find them. My family wants me to make them again. Can you email them to me? (I'm not sure how this thing works.)
Thanks
Judy
