    cracker barrel coca cola cake

                                                                                                                                               iso of the CRACKER BARREL DOUBLE CHOCOLATE FUDGE COCA COLA CAKE.   I have a few of Todd Wilbur's Top Secret Recipes books, but none have this recipe.  I would love to try his recipe cause I'm a Cracker Barrel fan.  Last time, after I purchased one of his recipes online,  I found the recipe in one of the books I had!!  I was so mad at myself.  Thanks.

    Cracker Barrel Double Fudge Coca Cola Cake Recipe #162337
    Copycat of Cracker Barrel's Cake. VERY good, I constantly have people ask me to make it.

    40 min | 20 min prep
    SERVES 10

    1 cup Coca-Cola
    1/2 cup oil
    1/2 cup margarine
    3 tablespoons cocoa
    2 cups sugar
    2 cups flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    frosting
    1/4 lb margarine
    3 tablespoons cocoa
    6 tablespoons cream or milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 cup pecans, chopped
    1 lb confectioners' sugar

    In a sauce pan: Bring Coca-Cola, Oil, Margarine, and cocoa to a boil. Mix the sugar, flour and salt, Pour in the boiling liquid and beat well.

    Add the eggs, Buttermilk, soda, and vanilla and beat well.

    Pour into a greased and floured sheet cake pan, and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

    For Frosting: In a saucepan, combine the butter cocoa, and milk and heat until the butter melts, Beat in the remaining ingredients, and Spread on the hot cake. Cool and cut.

      1                cup  Coca-Cola
         1/2           cup  oil
      1              stick  Margarine
      3        tablespoons  cocoa
      2               cups  sugar
      2               cups  flour
         1/2      teaspoon  salt
      2                     eggs
         1/2           cup  buttermilk
      1           teaspoon  baking soda
      1           teaspoon  vanilla
                            Frosting:
         1/4         pound  Margarine -- softened
      3        tablespoons  Cocoa
      6        tablespoons  Cream -- or milk
      1           teaspoon  vanilla
         1/2           cup  Pecans -- (1/2 to 1) chopped
      1              pound  Confectioners' sugar -- sifted

    oh my lord.  i made the cake, and it was so good!  and it was exactly like the Cracker Barrel

    Coca Cola Cake.   I have since made it 2 more times and everyone that tasted it loved it.
