  • iso strawberries stuffed with cream cheese

The other day there was a recipe over on the side, not in the posts, for strawberries stuffed with cream cheese and had chocolate sprinkles on it.  Within a day or so, I decided this would be good to make for a party but when I tried to retrieve it another recipe came up. Very similiar but not the one I wanted.  Does anyone know or have this recipe?

I stuff strawberries with a ricotta cheese mixture.  I use the same recipe as when I fill cannoli shells.  I've never sprinkled chocolate sprinkles on them, but I see no reason why you couldn't.  In fact, that sounds pretty good.  I may do that next time.

Kraft has a new product called Indulgence.  It comes in three flavors, white chocolate, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate.  They are flavored Philadelphia cream cheeses.  They are great with strawberries.  I  just hollow out the center of large strawberries and fill them with the Indulgence.  They are delicious.

I made the Heavenly strawberries right down to the chocolate sprinkles. I used sprinkles rather than grated chocolate and I think it was just as good. I tried to post a picture but it didn't come through but will post one when I figure it out.  Thanks for the help. I'm going to try the Indulgance with the leftover berries.

Thanks for the tip, Margie. I've never heard of flavored cream cheese so will look next time at the grocery. Which store did you find it?

Is it hard to hollow out the berries without splitting them all the way down? I'm not too coordinated!   lol

Hi, Liz!  Philadelphia Indulgence is located (at least in the stores here), in the refrigerated section next to the cream cheese.  There are three flavors:  dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate.
