    "Fixin's" for a Po Man's Supper

    Have you had a Po Man's supper at your church?  What did you prepare?

    So far we have stews, pinto beans with onions, vension.  Not sure of a dessert, would like something kinda different.  The men are preparing the meal....supposedly.  The ladies may send a dessert to finish it off.  Some of the best cooks are men.

    This is for men only and the purpose is to get the men in church and also bring in unsaved men. Want them to know "church folks" can have fun in God's house.

    Any suggestions??

    i have no experiences with that - i have googled the subject and many ideas surfaced - i will pull you over to recipes - i guess you will get more attention and help there!
