What is your favorite way to fix little smokies?

    Here's my favorite way to fix them!
    1/3 c apple jelly
    2 med apples cored, peeled and sliced
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    1/2 med onion sliced
    4 T butter or marg.
    1 pck smokies

    Saute the onions in the butter. add the apples and cook until tender. add the rest of the ingredients and cook until sausages plump.
    Sounds wierd but is delicious!

    I make them in a little crockpot with enough of your favorite brand of sweet and sour sauce to cover. I like LaChoy. They can be done quickly on the stove. The kids love these.

    I use grape jelly (any brand) and dijon mustard (any brand). Good luck!

    If you add a little grill seasoning to that brown sugar, it adds a little something extra that if very good.
