    fun snack that starts with Letter B
    Hi,
    I put a post in here last month for this same idea different letter and loved the ideas everyone came up with i am hoping i can get some other ideas for the letter B for 15 kindergarten students. I also need for it to be easy enough for my 5 year old to take on the bus with him. Any ideas.

    Hi,

    I don't know if you have to make the item, but those Chiquita Banana Cookies are very good. They are also shaped liked bananas and filled with chocolate. YUMMY.

    Banana Cookies

    1. Cream together:

    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 t vanilla extract

    2. Add:

    1 c. mashed fully ripe bananas

    3. Beat until well mixed.

    4. Sift together:

    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 t. baking powder
    1/2 t. salt

    5. Add a little of the banana mixture to the flour mixture, beating
    well.

    6. Continue to gradually add all of the banana mixture, beating well
    after
    each addition.

    7. At this point, you can bake the cookies or refrigerate the dough for
    later
    baking. (Note: the dough will be sticky.)

    8. To bake, place small balls of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

    9. Bake at 375 degrees (F) for 10 minutes, or until edges begin to
    brown.
    (Note: Lift the edge of the cookies to be sure they don't get too brown
    on
    the bottom.)

    10. Remove cookies to a wire rack to cool.

    11. Store in an airtight container to ensure that they don't dry out.

    Hi, Some of the things my kids like are breads. You could do a few different types of bread, like Banana Bread, Orange bread or lemon bread, , as these freeze well and could be made ahead of time. You could also do Broccoli with dip. Or even Bananas with a fruit dip. Another thing is Barbecued Chips, Or Barbecued Rice cakes. You could also do sugar cookies cut into the letter B. I hope these help.

    BIRTHDAY cake? would that work? or is that not "B" enuff? LOL-probably not an easy thing to take on a bus tho!

    Make Butter cookies? and decorate with icing- to look like a ballon on them, or bees -or baseball or anything that start with a B.


    Any kind of Berries?

    Bread Sticks?

    Something Butterscotch?

    Well after all of the great responses he ended up taking banana's. Of course the flu had been going around my house and i ended up with it the day before his snack day and left it in the hands of my husband to take care of. Sorry it wasn't the exciting response you all probably wanted. But thanks your help everyone.
