    I am curious about all of these different "Premiere" issues. I actually have two copies of the Premiere issue, the one with the five people on the cover. On page 8, one has "Our First Category: Chicken" (deadline March 1) and the other has "Our Category: Tomatoes," (deadline June 1).

    This suggests that there must have been a second printing very soon after the initial printing.

    Hillsmom, mine (five people on the cover) doesn't have any specific contest category! Just a description of what the contests will be like.
    My Apr/May issue has the tomatoes (deadline June 1) listed.

    That is so strange that there are all these different kinds of early issues. Maybe pepmint is right, maybe the response was much greater than they expected, so they kept having to print other editions.

    Ellen and anybody else that missed the early issues, there were tons of good recipes in the 1994 issues. I think those are the earliest ones I have and I have had it from the first chance it was offered here. Beth said she might have some from 92 or 93. I will recheck mine. Some of my very favorite recipes were from the earliest issues, so there is a lot to look forward to.

    I copied so many from week 2, i had to come find week 1. LOL

    Thank you for all these great recipes, however my DH might not thank you when I need bigger clothes!!!

    Thanks Connie. Maybe if things ever calm down, we can start again with the next issues. DOn't know if they will ever calm down though (LOL)
