What is your most shockingly easy and delicious recipe

You know the old faithful, the one that is so goood and sooo easy that you won't tell anyone the recipe.
Or if you have more that one...good.
I have a banana pudding, that people think I spent hours making the custard for, I will post it later.
It takes minutes. Ha Ha Ha I just smile and accept the compliments.
Lets share, just don't tell our friends..... Grunch

    To die for crockpot roast.
1 package each of ranch dressing mix, Italian dressing mix, and brown gravy mix. Put the roast in the crockpot, mix the dry ing and pour over the roast. Sprinle half cup water around the roast, and leave it cooking for 6 hours. Makes a wonderful gravy.
    Awesome.

I'll tell you - but just you! LOL
    Super Delicious Ice Cream Cake:
Crunch up a bag of oreos in the food processor (or just plain old bash 'em with a rolling pin) until they're crumbs, but not too fine. Mix in some chocolate syrup (about a scant 1/4 cup - you want them to just stick together a little).
Press 1/2 of it into the bottom of a spring form pan and put into the freezer for about 1/2 hour. Meanwhile, soften ice cream, whichever flavor you like. (I use vanilla because everything else is so sweet).
Then put cookies around the sides of the springform pan (I use those rolled up chocolate filled ones when I want to get fancy, but I've also used choc chip cookies, nilla wafers, you name it). Spread 1/2 of the ice cream in the pan so you can bolster up the cookies and make a layer of ice cream - put about 1/2 of the remaining cookie crumbs down. Put the rest of the ice cream down. Sprikle the rest of the crumbs over top and get crazy - put on maraschino cherries, mini m&m's, whipped cream - whatever you like.
    Enjoy!

O.K. I'll share one that is to die for...rich and creamy.

    Chocolate Mousse:

    2 cups whipping cream
    1 cup chocolate chips
    1 tsp vanilla

Put whipping cream and chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl and zap about 1 to 2 min. Stir until chips are melted and add vanilla. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight.
Beat with mixer until light and fluffy.....Ta Da....ist's done!

Now if you want to have some fun with this...add mint extract for mint chocolate.
If you want to make frosting out of this, beat until stiff.
This recipe is pretty basic and you can do a lot of things with it.

    Enjoy my secret recipe...
    Tutu :)

I forgot to say put the ice cream cake back in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours before you serve it. If you can wait that long! LOL

That Frito Pie sounds great Jolene. I know that my hubby would enjoy that, and I just happen to have all that on hand, so I think I will make that this weekend! I would do it today, but I'm making lasagne from scratch today....YUM ! That Frito Pie would be great to take to one of our many family get togethers. I love this thread of simple but delicious!
