    Banana Bars w/Cream Cheese Frosting

    I am looking for a recipe that I think I originally got from the quick cooking magazine. It was for banana bars (in a jelly rool size pan) with cream cheese frosting. I lost my recipe & my kids are sad!

    Banana Bars & Cream Cheese Frosting
    1/2 cup butter and or margarine
    1 1/2 cups sugar (white)
    2 eggs (large)
    2/3 cup milk with 1 Tbls.white vinegar
    3 mashed bananas (large)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 cups flour
    3/4 tsp.salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs, milk with vinegar,bananas,vanilla,flour,salt and soda. Pour on greased jelly roll size pan(11x17). Bake at 350* for 30 minutes(might have to bake longer) and or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Cream Cheese Frosting
    1-8oz. cream cheese(softened)
    1/2 cup butter(softened)
    2 teas.vanilla
    4 cups powdered sugar
    In a mixing bowl beat together the cream cheese,butter and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Gradually add the powdered sugar,beat until smooth.
