    Easy Delicious Pecan Log

    Pecan Log

    1 (6oz) package butterscotch morsels

Melt in double boiler; add 1/3-cup eagle brand milk, ½ cup broken pecans. Shape into log. Put into wax paper to shape (chill for about 10 minutes makes it easier to shape).

Take off wax paper and press pecans all around. Roll up into a new piece of wax paper. Keep in refrigerator.

    Note: This freezes very well.

Thanks, this sounds so good. I have a friend who loves pecan rolls and always has some bought ones on hand. I think this looks like it would be so much better. Will try it and if is as good as it sounds, I'll give her about 6 for Christmas.

You will love this candy...I got this recipe from my SIL...she makes it for the whole family at Christmas.

It freezes very well, so you can make it ahead of time.

Do you use sweetened condensed or just evaporated milk??? And what size of canned milk (since they come in different sizes).
    Thanks,
    Grelo

Eagle brand milk is sweetened condensed milk, not evaporated.
