    Deep fry turkey

We are going to deep fry our turkey this year for the first time. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also ideas of what to inject it with would help.

Hi! DO IT OUTSIDE! otherwise you'll have grease throughout the house (deep frying causes grease to be aerosolized--get into the air--and you'll have way too much cleaning to do).

Also read the directions very carefully, especially if you aren't familiar with deep frying. I usually don't deep fry at home, preferring to go out for the occasional treat, since it's messy.

The less moisture on the bird the better. It splatters less, and watch the amount of oil you use. You don't want to run the pot over, when you first put the bird in.
