    I'm Spending Christmas with Jesus

    This was printed on Angelic Stationary and put at each place setting for the luncheon held after my MIL's services a couple of years ago. She went to Jesus the first part of December. This was just so beautiful that I now include it in my yearly Christmas cards for friends who have lost a loved one. Thought you might enjoy it also.

    I'm Spending Christmas with Jesus this Year!

    I see the countless Christmas trees,
    Around the world below
    With tiny lights, like heaven's stars,
    Reflecting on the snow.

    The sight is so spectacular,
    Please wipe away that tear.
    For I'm spending Christmas
    With Jesus Christ this year.

    I hear the many Christmas songs
    That people hold so dear.
    But the sounds of music can't compare
    With the Christmas choir up here.

    To hear an angel sing

    I can't tell you of the splendor
    Or the peace here in this place.
    Can you just imagine Christmas
    With our Savior, face to face?

    If I can thank you through the tears, I will. My father-in-law is critical and this sure hits home.

    This is very lovely. Just the thing my neices and nephews who lost their mother, almost 2 years ago needs to read. This will be the 2nd Christmas without her.

    wow .... I think so often of seeing Jesus face to face, eye to eye ... and I cannot imagaine the emotions I will feel. Now reading this poem, and actually to be in heaven with the Lord on the day we have set aside to be His birthday .... to be a guest at His celebration ... is just too awesome for words ... even from old "chatty fingers" here. Hugs to ya'll who have loved ones in heaven and may the good Lord touch your hearts with His sweet, sweet peace throughout this holiday season.

    That was beautiful. A dear friend of mine died of cancer a few months ago.A good Christian women. Some of us from our Church would get together and play cards she was so competitive always had to win.When she went to be with our Lord I could just here her say I got to see Jesus first HA!HA!Like the song ,I can only imagine what it will be like. Praise the Lord I'm getting all excited.God Bless

    I send this to my sister that lost her DH a little over a year ago.Thanks so much for posting this it is so beautiful.I am sitting here with tears in my eyes as I read this.

    This was just what I needed! I lost my mom on Christmas Day, it will be 3 years this year. When my sister called me to tell me, I reminded her that mom would be just getting up to put the turkey in the oven at the time she passed. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she made some
    beautiful memories for us. I am sad that she is gone, but I think she picked the perfect day to spend with Jesus.

    This really made me cry. I lost my best friend, my only sister on December 17 2 years age and I hold on to this hope=== She is spending her Christmases with our Savior!! : > ) cfnier
