Here is something similar I found at allrecipes.com. I am sure you could substitute the fruit cocktail for the mandrin oranges and pineapple. I am sorry about the cream cheese though.

"This is a very easy pie to make, and it is wonderful for hot summer days. Use pineapple tidbits or chunks." Original recipe yield: 2 pies.

    INGREDIENTS:
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
    1/2 cup lemon juice
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 (11 ounce) cans mandarin oranges, drained
1 (8 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained
2 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crusts

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl, beat together condensed milk and lemon juice. Beat in whipped topping. Stir in well drained fruit. Beat, beat, beat until mixture looks like confetti.
Pour filling into graham cracker crusts, and chill for at least 4 hours.

This may be close to what you want.

    Fruit coctail pie
    1 can fruit coctail
    1 small box lemon jello
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 pint vanilla ice cream

Drain fruit coctail, reserving juice. Add enough water to juice to make 1 cup. Heat to boiling, add jello and dissolve. Stir in cold water; cut ice cream into 6 pieces and stir into hot mixture until melted. Chill until mixture thickens and fold in fruit. Pour into graham crust. Chill for 45 mins for a creamy texture, or for several hours for a firmer gelatin texture.

This is one of my favorites, I used to love it when my Mom would make it. It's really good in the summer, but also good to make you feel a little summery in the winter. Hope you enjoy it!
