    ISO: Black Forest Parfait

    Hello all,

    Would someone please post the recipe for Black Forest Parfait that is in the latest TOH? I can't remember the page number, but it shows a picture of this desert in plastic cups.

    I know it takes chocolate pudding, whipped topping, cherry pie filling and some milk, but I don't remember the portions.

    I was just playing around last night and noticed this recipe. If you go into Taste of Home and search their recipes, it should be there.

    Here you go.

    Black Forest Parfait (TOH June/July 05)

    2 c. cold milk
    1 pkg (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
    1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling, divided
    2 c. whipped topping, divided
    6 maraschino cherries with stems, optional

    In bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft set. Stir in 1 cup of pie filling; gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping. Spoon half of the pudding mixture into six tall glasses or cups. Top with remaining pie filling, pudding mixture and whipped topping. Garnish with cherries if desired. Yield: 6 servings.
