Looking for a crock pot recipe with shredded beef & pork

HI! I have lost my recipe that was used years ago. I know it included beef and pork with some of the other ingredients being ketchup, chili powder & worchestershire sauce. I think it even had green peppers in it. You slow cook it all day & shred the meats for sandwiches. It was awesome! Can anyone help me??? I originally found it in an IPS newsletter. Thanks! I would appreciate any response close!

    BARBECUED PORK AND BEEF SANDWICHES

In a crockpot, combine the following:

1 1/2 lb. lean stew beef
1 1/2 lb. lean pork cubes
    1 C. finely chopped onion
2 C. finely chopped green bell pepper

    Combine the following ingredients:

1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/2 C. brown sugar
    1/4 C. cider vinegar
    1 T. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. dry mustard

Blend all of these ingredients well and add to the crockpot. Stir into the meat, onion and pepper mixture. Cover and cook on HIGH for 8 hours. Stir to shred meat before serving on buttered rolls or pita bread.

NOTE: If you do not have a crockpot, you can simmer this mixture on top of the stove. Use a very heavy Dutch oven with a tight-fitting lid.
This may also be served over rice rather than using rolls, if desired. Leftovers freeze great.

Oh, maybe it wasn't IPS, but I remember the recipe was included in one of my monthly bills and on a stuffer or something. I thought it was IPS, but maybe it was Mid-American Energy??? Sorry! That's part of the problem with me finding the origianl recipe! At any rate, the post by redraspberrygirl looks great and has to be very close to what I'm looking for! Thanks!
