    Adult beverage CHAT!

I am so sad - - I have a new beverage I absolutely LOVE! I look forward to drinking it.

    Bacardi Silver Raz!!

WELL, I went and did some investigating because something that tastes SO good has got to be too good you know!

    LOL

    Listen to this:

    Alcopop Calories
    Smirnoff Ice 228
    Bacardi Silver 225
    Skyy Blue 277

    Product Calories
    12 oz Regular Beer 145
    12 oz can Cola 150
    1 Hostess Twinkie 150
1 Krispy Kreme glazed donut 200
    1 package chocolate-covered malt balls 180

Now you know why I am in a bad mood - I want my beverages. LOL BUT everytime I drink one I am basically eating a Krispy Creme donut!

Bushisms are sort of like potato chips, you can never have just ONE!

Just because alcohol is "sterile" doesn't mean that it doesn't have calories. The Bacardi stuff is pretty much a soda pop with alcohol added, thus the added calories.

And of course you know (rubbing salt in the wound) the calories are mostly from the alcohol--no nutritive value.

Well, I'll tell you what I like. Cap't Morgan Spiced rum with diet Coke or Pepsi and a twist of lime. Supposedly it only has 66 cal. but I don't know if I believe that. It's good, though.

    How does it taste?
I've got a fridge full of Smirnoff twisted. Haven't had any since camping, but they are tasty. Kind of sweet.

    If you're a no-carber, I saw a sign where you get Bacardi & diet coke/pepsi and have a carb-free alcoholic drink!

I'm not even a calorie watcher (I need to be more so now but have NEVER in the past!) I didn't understand why when I eat a small amount, walk everyday and run after these kids all day, clean etc etc I wasn't weighing less NOW I KNOW!

OH and they taste a lot like the Smirnoff twists - except maybe more on the razzy side lol!
