I'm just going to name a few. There are sooooo many.

    This is from Foodguy

MY WIFE’S OVEN FRIED CHICKEN WITH COUNTRY GRAVY

    Serves: 4
    Effort: easy
Comments: I used canola oil and Land O’Lakes baking sticks with canola oil. In my convection oven I only baked for 20 minutes on each side. I used huge boneless chicken breast, but this is an awesome was to fry chicken with no mess. Gravy is really good. I did put back some of the flour before using to for the coating back for the gravy. If your chicken is very big you may need to double the flour and the seasonings for it. For the milk, I made up some powdered milk and it was awesome. I got this recipe from a friend.

    INGREDIENTS:
1-3lb. cut up frying chicken (8 pieces)
1/4 c. vegetable oil (I used canola oil)
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) margarine (I used Land O’ Lakes baking sticks with canola oil)
    1 heaping cup flour
    1 t. paprika
    1/2 t. salt
    1/2 t. seasoned salt
    Black pepper to taste
    1/2 t. garlic powder

    3 T. flour
3 T. cooking fat and browned bits
    2 c. milk

    INSTRUCTIONS:
    *See Personal Note Below:
Wash chicken, and pat dry with paper towel. (My wife soaks the washed chicken in salt water for 15 20 minutes).
    Preheat oven to 425.
Place vegetable oil and margarine in shallow baking pan, and set in oven to heat and melt.
Combine flour and seasonings. Roll chicken pieces in flour mixture.
Remove hot pan from oven and arrange chicken pieces on it, skin side down, do not crowd.
Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes. Turn chicken so that skin side is up and continue baking-20-30 minutes until nicely browned and juices run clear.
Remove to a platter and keep warm (at least 10 minutes).

    Country Gravy
Scrape baking pan and place 3 Tablespoons of the accumulated cooking fat and browned bits into a saucepan. Stir in 3 Tablespoons flour and cook 1-2 minutes until well combined. Stir in 2 cups milk and continue cooking and whisking until gravy boils and thickens. Cook about one minute. Season with salt and pepper if necessary.
*PERSONAL NOTE: I always take the skin off my chicken. I used my big iron skillet to cook it in, in my convection oven I turned on the convection feature and baked at 400 degrees.
Depending on size of chicken will determine how long to cook it.

    DAVY CROCKETTS

    Serves: 4
    Source: mikitty_MI (TOH)
    Effort: easy
Comments: This is so easy and has so much flavor. It’s a definite favorite of Jim’s. I did a little tweaking for our taste, but the basic recipe is still here.
Sue suggested diced green chilies, then putting the meat on one crescent and then putting in triangle. Not as big that way.

    INGREDIENTS:
2 cans (8 count) crescent rolls
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 med. onion, chopped
2 cans (4 oz.) whole green chilies
    1 c. Monterey jack/cheddar mix grated cheese
    sour cream
    chives or diced green onions
    additional grated cheese, optional
    sliced black olives, optional

    INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375. Cook onion and ground beef til done.
Open 1 can of crescent rolls and separate dough into rectangles and place them at least 1” apart on a cookie sheet sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray.
Take 4 whole green chilies. Slit each chili down the length and open it up to flatten it. Be sure and take out any seeds. Lay one chili on each rectangle. Using a slotted spoon, spoon the drained ground beef & onion over the 4 rectangles. Top each with about 1/4 c. of cheese mixture. Open second can of rolls and separate into rectangle.
Gently lay a rectangles over each Davy Crockett. You don’t have to stretch the dough down to cover the edges. The dough will bake down and cover most of it. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Let each person top their Davy Crockett with sour cream, chives (or diced green onions). You can also top with additional shredded cheese if you’d liked and sliced olives.

    HAM & CHEESE STROMBOLI

    Serves: 2-4
    Source: PoncaGal
    Effort: easy
Comments: I tweaked this to our liking. That is what is so cool about this recipe. Change the meats and or cheese’s to what you like. PoncaGal had ham, Swiss cheese, green onions and pepperoni in hers. Here is how I fixed it and we LOVED it.

    INGREDIENTS:
1 tube (11 oz.) refrigerated French bread
2 (2.5 oz) pkg. thinly sliced ham
1 (6 oz.) pkg. sliced Canadian bacon
2 c. (8 oz.) finely shredded pizza cheese

    INSTRUCTIONS:
    Preheat oven to 350
Unroll dough on a greased baking sheet (I used parchment paper on my baking sheet and sprayed it with a non-stick cooking spray). Place ham over dough to within 1/2” of edges; now place Canadian bacon over the ham. Sprinkle the cheese over the meat. Roll up jellyroll style, starting with long side. Pinch seams to seal and tuck ends under. Place seam side down on baking sheet. With a sharp knife cut several 1/4” deep slits on top of loaf.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

    NO PEEK CASSEROLE

    Source: suzycreamcheese_MI (TOH)
    Effort: easy
Comments: I did some tweaking. Her recipe called for Campbell's Cream of Chicken & Mushroom Soup, 1/2 cup Ginger Ale, & 1 (4 oz) can mushrooms (optional). I couldn’t find that kind of soup, so I changed it. Didn’t have ginger ale on hand so used Fresca. Worked great. Makes your house smell wonderful while it’s in the oven.

    INGREDIENTS:
    2 lbs stew meat
    Salt & pepper to taste
1 (10.5 oz.) can Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1/2 cup Fresca
1 pkg. (2.5 oz.) dry onion soup mix
    1 (8 oz ) can diced mushrooms
    cooked spaghetti

    INSTRUCTIONS:
    Preheat oven to 300.
    Combine all ingredients.
Do not brown meat or dilute soup with water. Add a little salt & pepper
    Mix well.
It will be lumpy (and not very good-looking, lol!) before it's cooked.
Pour into casserole dish and cover.
    Bake 2 1/2 to 3 hours. DON'T PEEK!
Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
    Mine cooked for 3 hours.
The gravy turns brown and delicious!
    I served over cooked spaghetti.

    GOLD CAKE

    Serves: 12-16
    Source: foodguy (TOH)
    Effort: easy
Comments: I changed the recipe just a bit. But it is fantastic. It originally called for 1/3 c. oil and I took it out. Also it called for 1 t. almond extract and I didn’t add it, as we don’t like it. This is a fantastic cake. I’ll even admit, I put whipped canned milk chocolate frosting on it. Oh man is it good. I used Pillsbury cake mix with pudding and yes, I went ahead and added the instant vanilla pudding.

    INGREDIENTS:
    1 (18.25) Yellow Cake Mix
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
    1 envelope Dream Whip powder
    1 cup water
    3 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine ingredients in large mixer bowl and mix on low speed 1 minute. Increase to medium speed and beat 4 minutes. Pour into greased and floured pans (2-9" round or 1-9x13 oblong) (I used oblong cake pan)
Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until cake springs back when gently touched with finger.
Cool in pans 15 minutes before turning out of pan onto rack.
Cool completely and then ice with your favorite Chocolate Icing.
You can use any flavor of cake and pudding in this recipe-it comes out beautifully!
